These scarves are my latest finished products. I started by making the one above for my niece, with the color she requested 🙂 I then went on to make one for myself.

Here’s the pattern I used for both:

  • cast on however many stitches you’d like, depending on how wide you’d like it. For the waffle stitch, it needs to be in multiples of 3 + 1
  • k1, p2
  • p1, k2
  • k all stitches
  • p all stitches

I chose not to make these infinity scarves, but you can easily do that by sewing the seams together when you’re finished, or by using circular needs (which I haven’t quite mastered yet!).

I used a really chunky yarn for mine, called “Hug Me” from Imagiknit in San Francisco. It’s 50% acrylic and 50% wool. I used US 17 needles.

It’s already getting a little warm for scarves in San Francisco, so this will have to wait until next year!
